The Italian parts of Switzerland are not frequently explored by many tourists, even though there are many beautiful destinations in this region. Here are a few we recommend checking out on your visit.
An old fisherman's village a short ferry ride from Lugano on the cliff with dynamic view of the lake and the colorful houses. You will probably be one of the few visitors walking around there.

Best known for its 3 medieval castles, Bellinzona is the southernmost capital of Switzerland and considered by many to be the most beautiful places in Switzerland. While you’re there don’t forget to check out The Museo Villa dei Cedri which has regional art from the 19th century to the present on display.
